Each Wednesday, Blue Pants Brewery partners with a local non-profit organization to help raise money for their cause. We donate $1 from every beer or cocktail sold that day. We are excited to be partnering with so many great organizations. Here are the organizations we are partnering with for the month of June: Thrive Alabama, Christmas Charities Year Round, Launch Aspergers and the EOD Warrior Foundation.
Thrive Alabama will be here Wednesday June 1st. Thrive Alabama is a nonprofit organization which provides medical care and support services to people living with HIV and AIDS in North Alabama. The clinic is funded by the Ryan White Care Act, donations of the community, and state supported grants. All medical services are provided regardless of the client’s ability to pay. Wednesday June 8th, we will be partnering with Christmas Charities Year Round. Christmas Charities Year Round (CCYR) is a nonprofit, charitable organization that provides basic necessities year round, plus toys and food during the Christmas season, at no cost to clients. They also provide emergency resources including free clothes, shoes, and household items. In addition to all of this, they also provide school supplies/uniforms to over 5,000 less fortunate children & adults annually. Launch Aspergers will be partnering with us on Wednesday June 15th. Launch Aspergers has set a mission to provide funding through scholarships to improve the quality of life for young adults that have been diagnosed with High Functioning Autism and Asperger Syndrome. These scholarships allow their recipients to be to receive services they may not be able to afford otherwise. On Wednesday June 22nd, we will be partnering with EOD Warrior Foundation (EODWF) serves the EOD community by by providing financial assistance and support to active-duty and veteran wounded, injured or ill EOD warriors, families of our wounded and fallen EOD warriors and by maintaining the EOD Memorial.
